-Robin Evans, First Year Teacher at Dora High School

This is Robin Evans first year at Dora High School. She went to Oakman
as a High School Student. This is her 12th year as a graduation coach.
She is the only graduation coach in Walker County.. ((there are only 25
in the state of ALABAMA!)) Miss Evans has also taught at Carbon Hill, Cold
Springs, and Fairview. She received an undergrad from The University Of
Alabama and a Masters at UAB. Robin has a 7 year old son named Caleb. She
also expresses an interest in playing the piano. Her goal is for every
student in the 9th grade to leave in 4 years with a diploma. |

Sheila Tucker has been teaching at Dora for 2 years now. She teaches Anatomy
and Zoology. In the past, she has taught at McAdory, T.S. Boyd, and Carbon
Hill. Sheila has a husband named Mark Tucker (no children). As a student,
Mrs Tucker went to Corner High school. She has also attended Bevill State,
Wallace State, Jeff State, UAB and The University of Montevallo. Sheila
is multi-talented and active. She can sing & dance and even coaches
the Junior Varsity Lady Dawgs. Mrs Tucker has always found the field of
Science interesting and hopes that she has at least taught students (WHO
LISTEN) so that when they go to college.. it will not be as hard. |

-Leslie Neill DHS Class of 1988 Now Teaches at Dora High School

This is Leslie Neill's first year teaching at Dora. She's a high school
graduate here (class of 1988). She has 3 kids - Sarah, Katy, and Blaine.
Miss Neill was section leader in the DHS marching band. She has been Science
for 9 years now. She taught at Sumiton Christian, and Cordova. She wanted
to come back to her Alma Mater. Originally Miss Neill had planned on going
to college and become a nurse, but changed her Major to Biology. She went
to UNA and graduated at Livingston. Leslie has decided to take a break
and teach, but eventually plans to attend UAB and complete courses for
a Masters Degree. Before teaching students she was heavily involved in
Chemistry and Biology labs! Mrs Neills goal is to motivate kids and to
raise their standards. |

-Kristian Smith Advanced English Teacher at Dora High School

Miss Kristian Smith has been teaching at Dora for 2 years now. Her first
teaching job begins her at Dora. She teaches ADV English! Miss Smith is
engaged with Marchello. Together, they have a 2 year old son named Marchello.
Miss Smith went to Ramsey High School. She then attended Alabama State
University where she received her B.A.. She received her Masters degree
just last year at UAB. Kristian has ALWAYS loved English. She had a great
English teacher named Roosevelt Cook, who taught her well in the 8th grade.
Mrs Smith also expresses interest in music. She can play the piano and
trumpet. Kristian was in the marching band at Ramsey High school! Eventually,
Miss Smith would like to become a college professor and study Speech Pathology. |
