Dogs Win Some and Lose Some

On Saturday, December 13, the Bulldogs left for an invitational tournament in Tupelo, MS. The Bulldogs played one game and lost to the third-ranked team out of Mississippi by 16 points. They came immediately back home.
On Monday night, Dora faced the Fayette County Tigers at Dora High Gymnasium. Dora came out and played the Tigers tough. Dora trailed at the end of the first quarter, but they rallied to take a 5-point lead at the half. Dora ended up with a 69-61 win over Fayette County. Dora had 5 players with double-figures in points, with Rodney Farris leading the way with 14 points. The Lady Dawgs (3-4) lost to Fayette by the score of 43-32. Dora (5-2) will next travel to Vinemont on Friday for 9th, JV, Girls, and Varsity games starting at 4 PM.
