Worst to first in Class 4A, Area 11.

The Dora Bulldogs clinched their regular-season area title on Monday night with a convincing 79-62 triumph over the West Point Warriors.
Keegan Tarver paced Dora with 27 points, including hitting 13-of-15 free throws and the Bulldogs (18-2) locked up the top seed in the area tournament next month.
“It was definitely one of our main goals to host the area tournament. It gives us a great opportunity to do better things in front of our own fans and on our own court,” said Dora head coach Heath Burns, whose team is ranked No. 4 in 4A. “This is another step in the right direction. It’s good for our community, fans and school. They deserve it.”
West Point didn’t make it easy on Dora in the first half. The Warriors used the 3-point ball to stay close, knocking down eight of their 10 3-pointers on the night in the opening half.
When West Point cooled off, Dora pulled away.
Dora used a 25-13 second-quarter run and switched a 17-13 first-quarter deficit into a 38-31 advantage at intermission. The Bulldogs pulled away for a 56-46 lead at the end of the third.
Dora had plenty of contributions in its important win. B.K. Smith scored 17 points, Michael Forest had 13, Jo-Jo Walls contributed nine points, 11 rebounds and seven assists and Ja’Michael Swain added six points, four blocks and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs.
West Point was led by Michael Beck’s 14 points. Chris Bagwell and Derrick Butler added 10 apiece.
