Bulldogs Are on a Rollby Joe Moon Coach Heath Burns now has the confidence that his group of Dora Bulldogs can make a legitimate run into the 4A State Basketball Playoffs. Over the last 2 1/2 weeks the Dora Bulldogs have won 6 of the last 8 games. Over these last 8 games, the Bulldogs are averaging 66.625 points/game, while giving up an average of 46 points/game. Dora has beaten Hamilton 55-38 (1-18-08), Oakman 93-33 (1-24-08) Co. Tourney, @ Curry 51-34 (1-28-08), @ Cordova 89-61 (1-31-08), Carbon Hill 72-55 (2-1-08), and at Hueytown 71-57 (2-4-08). The two losses came versus Curry 51-38 (1-21-08) County Tourney, and Shades Mtn. Christian 67-64 (1-29-08). The Bulldogs (10-13) will play in the Class 4A, Area 9 Tournament at Haleyville High School at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday. They will take on the top-seeded, and home-standing Haleyville Lions. |
