Joe MoonIt was a packed house at Dora High Gymnasium, as the Walker Vikings faced the home-standing Dora Bulldogs, on Friday, January 11. The Bulldogs (4-9) showed that they had heart and tenacity as they faced a real good and athletic opponent. They fought hard in the 1st quarter as they trailed 16-13. Then, in the second quarter they slacked up a little, not a lot, as they went into the locker room trailing 28-24. In the second half, the Walker Vikings showed their talent as they pulled off a 35-26 half, and the victory by the score of 63-50. Scoring for the Bulldogs: Lavertis Towns (20 pts), Keegan Tarver ( 9 pts), Terrance McDavid (8 pts),Jamichael Swain (8pts), Booker Reed (3 pts), and Buck Nash (2 pts). Upcoming opponents for Dora: 1/14 @ Shades Mountain Christian, 1/15 @ Oneonta, 1/17 vs Fayette County, and 1/18 vs Hamilton.
