Dawgs Defeat Deshler in First Round of the 4A Playoffs
The Bulldogs had their hands full on Friday night with the Deshler Tigers. Dora's defense came up big on Deshler's first possession and stuffed the tigers deep in their own territory. After the ensuing punt, the Bulldogs marched down the field and scored but missed the extra point.
Deshler answered but got the extra point. The Dawgs were down 7-6 in the second quarter.
Dora put a scoring drive together before the half and went for the two point conversion and was successful. Score at the half 14-7.
In the fourth quarter, both Dora and Deshler added scores but the Dawgs held on to win the first game of the playoffs 21-14.
