Some teams have nearly completed the area portion of their schedule.
Not Dora.
The Bulldogs improved to 2-0 in Area 13 and 20-10 overall with a
road sweep of Hamilton on Tuesday night.
Dora won the opener 8-0 and the nightcap 9-2.
Hamilton had absolutely no fun at the plate as Dora's Justin Bussey
tossed a three-hitter, along with striking out nine batters.
The Bulldogs tallied 11 hits and every starter joined the party
with at least one base hit.
Taylor Williams led the offensive charge with a three-run homer,
a double and three RBIs. Cam Thrasher also added a double and two
RBIs.
In the finale, Dora once again pounded out 14 hits behind starter
Kyle Chance, who struck out eight over seven innings.
Bussey, Chance, Thrasher, Williams, Anthony Valdez and Landon Hayes
each contributed with multi-hit games at the plate.
Dora hosts Fayette County Friday for its first home area matchup. |
