Fayette by Joe Moon You could not ask for a better atmosphere tonight, than at Dora High School. The Bulldogs faced their rivals from Corner High. After 1 qtr: 17-10 DHS. At the Half, Dora was up 30-27. After 3rd qtr, Dora was up 43-37. At the end of regulation, Dora 57 Corner 57. Dora outscored the Jackets 9-6 in the OT period to beat Corner, 66-63. It was almost a packed house, and the fans were really into it. After the game was over, the Dora students rushed the court in jubilation. GREAT GREAT GAME played by 2 good teams. In JV action, Corner defeated Dora by the score of 45-38. In Varsity Girls action, the Lady Dawgs destroyed the Lady Jackets by the score of 85-42. Next for Dora teams: 1/13-15 Walker County Big Schools Tournament to be held at Dora High Gymnasium. The schools participating in the tournament are Dora, Sumiton Christian, Walker and Curry. Come out and support your Dora Bulldog teams!!! GO BULLDOGS GO!!!!! |
