Dora Season Ends with Loss to Hamilton
The photograph of the cheerleader to the right says it all. The Dora Bulldogs played hard but in the end, they lost with five seconds left in the game.
It was a miserable night for football, rain, mist and fog turned the field into a quagmire. The photos taken show the conditions.
There were questionable calls that put Hamilton in a position to win, but when all is said and done, the season is over and all we can say is wait until next year.
The final score was 28 to 26.
I wanted to take a moment to let the school, the team, the cheerleaders, the band, the dancers, and the fans know how proud of them. It takes a lot to have a successful program and Dora has shown that we have what it takes. GO DOGS!

DORA – Never quit.
The Hamilton Aggies were proof of that statement Friday night as they upset No. 8-ranked Dora 28-26 in a Class 4A second round playoff game at Horace Roberts Field.
Dora (10-2) went up 26-21 after a 51-yard touchdown pass from Jorge Williams to Derrick Gardner with 1:00 remaining in the game. Hamilton head coach John Holliday said he reminded his team the game was far from over. That proved to be an understatement.
The Aggies (9-3) marched 67 yards in a minute by picking up a pass interference call and senior quarterback J.T. Ables completing 3-of-3 pass attempts.
