Tourney BEN HAMILTON Eagle Sports Writer (Story Courtesy of the Daily Mountain Eagle) Published December 29, 2004 10:35 PM CST HOOVER -- The Dora Lady Bulldogs picked up a win during the Lady Jaguars Classic at Spain Park High School Wednesday. Dora improved its record to 6-7 with a 59-45 win over the Altamont Lady Knights. The Lady Bulldogs cruised to victory, taking an early 16-4 lead after just the first quarter and a 28-16 advantage at the half. Dora was led by Kayla Smiley's 19 points and Chantrese Softley's 17. Amber Chambers added eight points while Kimber Holt had six and nine rebounds. Crystal Tillman had five points for Dora, which plays host to Hayden, beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday. |
