| Dogs Whip Haleyville
by Joe Moon Class of 91 The Dora Bulldogs played the Haleyville Lions at Dora High Gym on Tuesday night. There were four games scheduled with the 9th grade, Junior Varsity, Varsity Girls, and the Varsity Boys. The ninth-graders were dominant from the start, defeating the Lions 49-15. The Junior Varsity didn't fair well as they were manhandled by the Lions, 78-42. The Varsity Girls lost a heart-breaker to Haleyville, 68-58. The Varsity Boys team were a close-to perfection team as they defeated the Haleyville Lions by the score of 66-56. Dora's next 3 games are Friday at Hayden, Saturday at county-rival Walker, and next Tuesday night at home against the Parrish Tornadoes. Come out and support the (5-3) Dora Bulldogs. GO DAWGS GO!!! |
