Bulldog Band Update

Congratulations go out to the " Pride of Walker County" Marching Band. The band participated in the Veteran's Day parade Nov. 3rd in Jasper Al. They came on with the 1st place trophy. Thanks Mr. Pate for going with us to Jasper. We hope you enjoyed your time with us.
Once the parade was over and the band arrived back at the high school, it was time to eat. The Band Parent Association cooked hamburgers and french fries for the kids. With food in their stomachs, it was time to get to work. The band had practice for a short time then loaded the buses again for Hayden Al. There they participate in the Pride of Hayden Marching Band Festival.
The band did Dora proud again by brining home the following awards:

Best in Class: Drum Major
Best in Class: Percussion
Best in Class: Band
Parents and Students you should be proud of the accomplishments of the band this year. They have worked hard all season and deserve to be called " THE PRIDE OF WALKER COUNTY"
Concet Season is now upon the band and they will work hard to continue be the best they can be. Just as soon as we get a Christmas concert date will let everyone know.
Thanks to everyone who has helped with the band this year. You did a great job.
