Welcome to the Dora High School Alumni Web Community
Keeping the Alumni in Touch

'Everybody has a talent!
There are some who are just afraid to show it, but there are also some who don’t even realize they have it! It is not an old thing that I can dance. It was only a year ago that I learned I could. Look at me now! I am being asked to dance at pep-rallies, a couple of halftimes (basketball), this years Alumni Reunion, and possibly Miss Dora High. Had I not known that I had this talent, I wouldn’t be dancing anywhere…..period!! I learned that I had this talent and I am sure everybody else can learn what there talent is. I want to give thanks to Kayla Hollis and Destiny Child, it all worked in a chain, I give thanks in this order; these students told Mrs. Prestridge about my dancing, Mrs. Prestridge asked me if I wanted to dance at
a pep-rally, I chose ‘Yes’, she told me about Mrs. Wright and Erin Hufstedler and that I needed to talk with them. Once accepted by them, I met the cheerleaders and danceline, I have been asked to dance to ‘Thriller’ with the danceline, and I was asked to dance to the first 30 seconds of ‘Goodies’ with the Cheerleaders. Once again, thank you!'
