Sandy Combs Amerson Sandy Combs Amerson is the New DHS Alumni President
 Sandy Combs Amerson, a member of the Dora High School Class of 1967 was elected as the new president of the Dora High School Alumni Association. Sandy will serve a two-year team along with Margaret Williams Taylor (Class of 69) as vice president, and Donna Hyde Harbin (Class of 69), as secretary. Nelson Robinson will continue to be the treasurer.
Sandy has kicked off some ambitious fund raising projects and she needs your help. She will be collecting recipes for a Dora High School Alumni Cookbook. Please look back at your favorite recipes and send one (or more) to Sandy at sandy@dorahighschool.com. They can also be mailed to her at Sandy Amerson 6581 Old Birmingham Hwy. Jasper, Alabama 35501.

Shirley Jett Shirley Jett - Nurse at Dora High

Shirley Jett is the Dora High School nurse. This is her first year at Dora. She also goes to T.S. Boyd in the mornings, and then comes to Dora. She passed her G.E.D. some time ago. She went to college at Wallace State University in Hanceville. She enjoys taking care of people. She has been a nurse for 9 years. She is married to Steve Jett. Together, they have 4 children; Patricia, Pamela, Brian, and Jonathon.

Ron Undem teaches Science at Dora High School. He has taught multiple classes of Science; Physical Science, Physiology, Earth Science, Space Science, Biology, and Chemistry. As a student, he went to Walker High School. He graduated, in college at The University of Alabama.
