|Jed Glover Update
If someone had told me where I would be today on that warm Summer
graduation night in 1989, I likely would not have believed it. I can
still remember accepting my diploma from Principal Jim Crump on graduation
night at Horace Roberts Field like it was yesterday. Twenty years have
passed and that seems incredibly hard to believe.
I have now served 11 years on active duty in the United States Air Force.
After serving four years at Grand Forks AFB, ND and seven years at
Maxwell AFB, AL, my service has now delivered me to Okinawa, Japan's Kadena
AFB. I have been stationed on the Island for 3 months. I like
to refer to this place as paradise because I am unsure if I have seen one
of God's creations that has as much beauty as Okinawa. I have included
some photos to share some of that beauty with all of you.
My education has continued since graduating from Dora thanks to the Air
Force. I completed an Associate in Applied Science Degree from the Community
College of the Air Force in 2007. I followed that with a Bachelor of Science
in Human Resource Development from Southwestern College and I
am currently working on a Master's Degree.
It would be terrific to hear from some former DHS classmates. If you want
to drop me a line, please feel free to do so at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope to hear from some of you soon.
