Going into my Senior year at Alabama this fall, degree in Telecommunication and Fillm - Broadcasting News Intern at ABC 33/40 in birmingham this summer. They chose 300 original videos out of the 38,000 that were sent in.
Mine was the only one from Alabama. Over time they have added more people to the site which totals about 3,000 now. I have been in the top 25 in votes the whole time. I am currently 19th place. There are a total of 5 rounds.They go like this: Round 1 - anyone with 1,000 plus votes (I have already passed this
because I have 4,900 plus votes already)
Round 1 voting is open for 5 weeks - from 10:00pm (EST) May 2, 2007 to
9:00am (EST) June 7, 2007.
Requirements

Round 2 voting is open for 3 weeks - from 10:00pm (EST) June 7, 2007
until 9:00am (EST) June 21, 2007. (top 200) advance
Round 3 voting is open for 1 week - from 10:00pm (EST) June 21, 2007
until 9:00am (EST) June 28, 2007. (top 50) advance
Round 4 is a closed MTV production round - from 9:01am (EST), June 28,
2007 until 9:00am (EST), July 5, 2007.
Round 5 is open for 6 days - from 9:01am (EST), July 5, 2007 until
12:00am (EST), July 10, 2007 (america votes on the top 10 mtv picked)
You can once a day per account you create. In other words you have two
email accounts you can vote for me twice a day.
