Note From Iraq
Just when you wonder if what you are doing is worthwhile, you get a note from someone and it makes all the difference in the world. L.C. Glover who was one of the sideline helpers at the Dora Football games last year has been in the National Guard for many years. He was activated in January and is now serving in Iraq. He doesn't have the luxury to go to the games or pick up a daily newspaper and check the score....but he does get a chance to log on to this website and keep up with how the Bulldogs are doing. I was humbled to get his note.
Rick; Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and Jilda keeping up the web site. It's great to be able to keep up with the football program and other activities going on at home. I check it out every chance I get and read the news about the ball games and look at all the pictures.
As I think you know I was activated in early Jan and am currently serving with Delta Co. of the 711th Sig. Bn. out of Mobile. I am at Camp Delta near Al Kut in Eastern Iraq. (THE WEBSITE IS REALLY GETTIN' OUT).
Tell everyone I said hello (GO DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and keep up the good work!
May God Bless
