Annual
East Walker Christmas Parade Bigger and Better Than Ever
The Annual East Walker Christmas kicked off at 10 a.m. on Saturday,
December 15th and wound its way from Dora through Downtown Sumiton
ending up at Bevill State.
The roadside was crowded with kids both young and old who came out
in force to enjoy the parade. Kids on the parade route were treated
to lots of candy and treats tossed from the floats and cars as they
crawled by.
Both Sumiton Christian and Dora High School bands participated as well
as firetrucks, fire and rescue, and a host of organizations and businesses
from the east end of the county.
